Betty & Matthew's wedding

What a day, we started shooting Betty and Matthew's wedding around 9am and finished around midnight. I am still aching all over, but it was well worth it to be part of such a beautiful wedding. In the course of the day we had an Anglican church service, 2 Tea ceremonies, a location shoot at Luna Park and finished with a huge reception at the Fook Yuen restaurant in Chatswood.
What struck me the most throughout the day is the huge support Betty and Matthew have received from their family, friends and church community. Their popularity is definitly a testament to their open and genuine personalities.
Guys, it was a pleasure to shoot your wedding; oh, and I loved your wedding cake! That's easily the reddest cake I have ever seen; cool!

PS.: Thanks for the Chop sticks :-)

Nicole & John E-session

Another awsome e-session!
For once the sun wasn't shining at Balmoral but we had heaps of fun anyway. The images are downloaded and at first glance there is some cool material there. Here are some of my favs so far. I generally go for a very natural look, but tonight I decided to have some fun with Photoshop :-)
I am really looking forward to your wedding guys!

Sorry guys, just couldn't resist this shot :-)

Kath's maternity shoot

A change of scene for this afternoon's session. Kath had said she was up for anything for her maternity shoot, so we decided to take her to Lane Cove Park and capture her belly amongst the rocks & bush. After a bit of warming up in front of the camera, Kath captured the exact mood we were looking for. I'm sure this little boy will be amazed some day when he looks back at these photos of his mum.

Paige & Arabella

This morning I photographed 2 gorgeous little girls. Paige was very cheeky & had the typical 6 year old smile with loads of teeth, so it took a while but I finally got her real smile. Arabella is one of those little girls who doesn't stop smiling so it was harder trying to catch her more serious side. By the time we were finished there weren't too may flowers left in the garden.

Rolla and Darren E-session

Back again at my favourite outdoor studio; Balmoral Beach with the lovely Rolla and Darren for an e-session. We kicked our shoes off and got down in the sand for some fun and seriously gorgeous images.

Engracia, John and Luke

Last year we photographed Engracia and John's wedding. We were very excited to hear about the arrival of Luke. We love being able to follow through with our couples to the next stage of their lives. Luke is very cute, he looks just like his dad.

At the park

This mornings session was at a local park. The kids had a great time playing & we had a great location for a classic family portrait. Will is full of energy (like all 6 year olds boys...), Ella gorgeous with her curles & Sara so sweet. It was great to spend some time with such a lovely family.

Guestbook

We are constantly looking for ways to display your photos in a creative way. Our latest product is a guestbook made from images of a typical engagement shoot. It's a hardcover book and the images are printed as in a real book. Actually, it is a real book!
Take a look...

At the beach

We spent the afternoon at Balmoral Beach with the kids. Felix and Max had a great time playing in the water and Millie just loves eating sand! It was great to have a chance to photograph our own kids.

Rachel & Rohan

Rachel and Rohan are getting married next year; since we'll be taking them to Balmoral for photos we thought this would be a great place for some fun engagement shots. Besides I love shooting at Balmoral!

Newborn session

I was so excited to discover little Rose had arrived (Melinda's baby from our maternity session July 5th). She was a week late so I'm sure mum was relieved to finally meet her at last. So here she is 10 days old. Kate

Childcare centre

This week we photographed a child care centre. We had a great time catching some fun photos of the kids. We didn't pose the kids, we just photographed them as they were playing. Here are just a few of our favourites.
