Admired By Beckstead.com

David Beckstead is a US based based photographer, and he is one of those guys you just have to like. He takes awesome images and is always supportive towards other photographers.

A while back David set up a website www.admiredbybeckstead.com to showcase wedding images that inspire him. There is no commercial motive here, it's just a showcase of cool wedding photos that inspire him personally.

In his own words:
"This site is for juicy photographers only! All boring “sit in the box, un-tasty” photographers need not apply!"
and
"You can’t pay me to put one of your images on here! I decide what I like."

Anyway, recently I received an email from David asking if he could add one of my images to his site.

Having one of my images amongst so many great images is totally flattering.

Here is the image, don't forget to check out the rest of the images on the site! www.admiredbybybeckstead.com

Beckstead says: Simplicity of the beach and the bride running...just cool!

This image was shot in Fiji, where Kate and I were lucky enough to shoot with another awesome photographer; Vanessa from Wildberry Studio + Design in Melbourne.

Nick & Monique

Nick and Monique are the cutest and nicest couple. I only hope the images do them justice.

I always ask the guys to get a shot of the rings, but actually it's just my subtle way of saying "You better make sure you got the rings!"

While waiting for the Chevy to arrive, we took some images around Telstra stadium, which is just across from the Ibis Hotel where Nick was getting ready.

The girls all glam.

Monique and her Dad disappearing into the church at St. Vincents in Ashfield.

Candid shot of Monique during the ceremony; a penny for her thoughts.

We stopped for some fun shots at Cabarita.

Nick's Dad letting it rip during the reception.

Sarah & Doug

Sarah and Doug got married at Palm Beach, what a top location, especially when you get a day like this.

The reception was held at the relaxed Pacific Club across the street from the beach.

Kirsty & Chris

On Sunday finally the rain set in, I blame it on the fact that half the wedding party was English :-)
Still, great wedding, great photos at Bradley's Head, and great party at one of my favourite reception venues, Gunner Barracks.

Angus & Caroline

Getting married at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney has to be one of them most beautiful settings for a wedding, anywhere. Where else can you arrive by boat and get of at the Opera House?
The reception itself was held at the Opera House. It just doesn't get much better than this.
The weather was a bit doubtful at times but held out just long enough for the ceremony to finish and a few location shots.

She really wanted that bouquet :-)
