Chinese weddings can be hectic; besides the typical western traditions, there are games and tea ceremonies.
Henry arrives at Jennifer's place with his entourage. While Jennifer is upstairs the groom has to submit himself to any games, tests etc the girls can think of before he is allowed to see the bride.
I think Henry got off pretty lightly, he and the guys only had to do some push ups (I have seen much worse humiliation), and in the end the old cash did the trick and he was allowed to greet his bride.
The tea ceremony is an important part of any Chinese wedding day. The ceremony is to show respect and to thank the family for raising them, so there are usually 2 ceremonies, one for each side of the family. In turn the couple receive red envelopes with cash and jewelery.
Jennifer and Henry got married at 'Our Lady of Fatima' in KingsgroveOn location around the Olympic site which was just near the reception venue, the Waterview Convention Centre at Bicentennial Park, Homebush
Cops are Tops, these guys suddenly turned off the road and drove up to us, for a moment I thought we were in trouble, but they just wanted to congratulate Jennifer & Henry.
Relaxing just before heading into the reception venue for the second tea ceremony and the reception.
Father Dom took everyone by surprise when he got up and started dancing like a pro. He took over the dancefloor and put everyone else to shame, cool :-)
